Through the use of batteries, the Solar Impulse can fly non-stop during the day or night. This photo was taken at the Udvar Hazy Museum near Dulles Airport in Virginia. Solar Impulse had just completed a flight across the USA with one more stop in NY. The Solar Impulse aircraft is a unique invention that will change the future of air transportation.
